Hollyland’s Astra P1 tracks presenters automatically

The Astra P1 PTZ camera from Hollyland combines UHD 4K60 imaging and 30x zoom with intelligent face-detection and auto-tracking, along with NDI|HX3 support for a range of production applications.

The 1/1.8in CMOS image sensor is matched to a 30x optical zoom with an aperture up to f/1.6, for use in low light. Combined with 0.1° preset accuracy, it can switch between long shot and extreme close-up presets with fluid motion.

The face detection automatically optimises exposure in real time. It uses human-based logic to follow the presenter, analysing posture and motion to distinguish them from the background. It also has Zone Tracking, for automated movement across up to four key areas.
