Unveiling updates to smartWork, its media integration and asset management platform, Tedial says its new features will help broadcasters streamline content creation, packaging and distribution.
These include a web-based editor for browser-based production, enabling transitions, graphics and voiceovers with outputs for horizontal, vertical or square formats.
The platform also supports live IP workflows, managing SRT, RTMP and HLS streams to speed up the creation of highlights or clips for distribution.
SmartWork enhancements include optimised workflows for sports, news and music libraries, as well as automated packaging for distribution. The company has also added AI-driven tools such as multilingual semantic search, metadata enrichment, speech-to-text and dubbing.
The system can be deployed in cloud, on-prem, or in hybrid environments, with support for collaborative review and feedback across devices.
Julian Fernández-Campón, CTO, Tedial, said: “We are focusing the platform on business specific areas, such as sports, news and the arts and adding AI-driven elements. The smartWork platform gives our customers the freedom to choose the tools they need for every scenario.”
