Projective expands Strawberry with AI search

Software firm Projective has unveiled three advancements for its Strawberry production asset management system ahead of IBC2026, including AI-powered visual search with automatic shot detection, single-pane multisite management, and a new cloud post-production bundle for smaller teams.

The visual search tool automatically detects shots across footage, making previously untagged rushes searchable. The multisite management feature gives engineers a single interface for overseeing distributed environments spanning cloud, on-premises, or hybrid deployments.

Meanwhile, the Strawberry Skies Starter Bundle offers a cloud post-production platform priced at €2,000 per month, designed for smaller teams and temporary productions.

Marco Stahl, Product Owner and Co-Founder at Projective, said: "Each of these innovations solves a problem our users live with every day. Visual search solves the perennial problem of finding untagged rushes. With their entire untagged content pool now discoverable, editors can find and reuse clips much more quickly.

“The single pane of glass gives engineers one place to manage a distributed environment, whether it's cloud, on-premises, or both. And the Skies Starter Bundle packages everything a growing team needs into one subscription they can deploy in hours. We built these to make the platform smarter, faster, and far easier to run at scale,” Stahl added.
