Content analysis specialist Spherex is showcasing its artificial intelligence and machine learning-based platform that is designed to assess the cultural fit of film and TV content for distribution in different countries.
The company observed that the international distribution of video content is increasingly complicated. A country’s laws, culture, and customs determine age ratings and market reach. Few producers, distributors, or platforms have the expertise to navigate the complex web of regulatory requirements in each jurisdiction, it added.
Teresa Phillips, CEO of Spherex, said: “Our platform automates the process of reviewing titles for content compliance at a country level. We eliminate the risk of releasing an objectionable version of a title in an important market and ensure the content is monetised to the greatest extent.”
