At IBC2026, Satlink will present its IP stream modulator, the ST-7406, and its ability to convert IP inputs into DVB-T, DVB-C, and ISDB-T RF signals.
The ST-7406 supports multiple IP transport stream formats, including single program transport stream (SPTS) and multi-program transport stream (MPTS) over user datagram protocol/real-time transport protocol (UDP/RTP).
The system also features a built-in web gateway for remote centralised control and parameter configuration. The unit supports up to two output channels, each carrying approximately 15 programmes within a total bandwidth of 25Mbps.
Satlink’s IP stream modulator also supports USB media files, meaning programmes from USB and IP sources can be combined and managed via the web interface or app for RF distribution.
The ST-7406 is suited for TV systems in hotels, hospitals, residential communities, schools, and similar venues, enabling an upgrade from analogue to HD television without rewiring existing coaxial cables.
