Scorpion-lite certified for Intelsat Flex

The Scorpion-lite terminal lands at IBC with full certification with the Intelsat Flex network. This development enables users to utilise both technologies to deliver high-performance, flexible and scalable connectivity worldwide.

Andy Hughes, Head of UK Satcom and Broadcast Sales at Milexia UK, said: “We’re delighted to have worked in conjunction with our partners Holkirk to receive full certification for the Scorpion-lite platform on the Intelsat Flex network. Together we are redefining what is possible in remote communication.” 

Leveraging the Flex network’s capabilities, the Scorpion-lite facilitates high-speed data transfer, enabling rapid communication, file sharing and video conferencing. 

Milexia is demoing the Scorpion-Lite as well as showcasing its VSAT fixed antennas, services including Earth Station support at IBC. 

Hughes added: “Milexia is our European partner and we are welcoming colleagues and clients from all over the world onto our stand. IBC is always important to us.”
