QuikPunch is a wireless spotlight with a 5in Fresnel lens, claimed to be the “most energy-efficient ever” by Astera. Capable of matching a 200W LED PAR with 4.5 hours of runtime, it features a 13º-60º zoom, promises zero stray light, and delivers 8,000 lux at 3m from 75W of power (650W equivalent).
According to Astera, it is also highly controllable, with a sharp optical footprint with zero spill like a theatrical PC projector. An EdgeSoftener filter enables it to work as a traditional 650W Fresnel spotlight.

The IP65-rated QuikPunch can also be used as a compact RGBMA wall washer, using its 60º beam; unlike traditional Fresnels, it should deliver sharp, controlled cuts using its eight-way barndoor (even at 45º), with no need to flood. For precise fixture positioning, TiltMeter software shows the tilt angle on its OLED screen.
Preparation is also quick, using its PrepBox and integrated ChargingPlate, with enough space for up to eight lights, eight barndoors and filters, plus cables and clamps, the ChargingCase is ideal for event workflows.
QuikPunch includes LumenRadio DMX and RDM, for seamless wireless and wired integration with lighting consoles, while the AsteraApp offers full control, including setup and real-time monitoring.
