During an IBC2025 Future Tech Stage presentation on the foundation of the 2024 Ecoflow II, Ranjena Gohil, Project Manager at Channel 4, was joined by: Tim Davis, Principal Enterprise Architect at ITV; Daniel Negru, CEO of Quanteec; and Kristan Bullet, CEO of Humans Not Robots.
The Ecoflow II panel discussion revolved around improving the sustainability of streaming and broadcasting through technological innovation and collaboration. The project, initially started last year, aimed to explore ways to make streaming more sustainable. Participants discussed the challenges of measuring energy consumption across the supply chain and the importance of prioritising impactful areas for improvement.
