Get on the Nettwark with 2wcom

With broadcast infrastructures becoming increasingly distributed, 2wcom’s nettwark aims to provide a centralised approach to manage, configure and remote-control devices.

Thanks to its hybrid network capabilities, the browser-based platform ensures reliable connectivity whether operating via IP or satellite networks.     It enables users to configure single devices or groups, push firmware updates, schedule audio uploads, and automate key actions from a secure web interface. It supports the full 2wcom 4audio line, although the platform’s modular architecture also opens the door to future interoperability with third-party systems; 2wcom says nettwark can even interface with SIRC installations to maintain control over legacy fleets.

Markus Drews, Software Developer, 2wcom, said: “With nettwark, users can use transport streams which means they can use satellite as well as IP. So if a user has devices at a transmitter, they can use a transport stream which is sent there to control those devices.”
