CBC/Radio Canada picks Dalet

CBC/Radio-Canada has selected Dalet to modernise its news operations across Canada.

The Dalet Pyramid platform will be deployed across the organisation. This digital-first approach is expected to transform how CBC/Radio-Canada creates and delivers news, from local stories to fast-breaking global events.

Brian Doheny, CEO, Dalet, said outdated tools and fragmented workflows limit access to content from the field and require users to jump between multiple systems to complete tasks.

“Dalet solutions aim to bring operational value to newsrooms and transform business models, ensuring sustainability and integrity,” he said.

Frédéric Roux, SVP Growth, Dalet, added that the installation represents more than a modernisation of an operation, describing it as “a blueprint for every multiplatform news organisation seeking to transform how they work”.

“The economics and demands of newsrooms have shifted dramatically over the past five years. They must reinvent how they produce, deliver, and monetise content – with speed, efficiency, and agility at the core of the operation. Dalet Pyramid delivers a unified, intuitive experience, built on a flexible, cloud-native architecture that scales effortlessly across on-premises, cloud, and hybrid environments,” Roux said.
