Albert Lai from Google Cloud set the stage by highlighting AI's growing investment and its significant impact on content creation, distribution, and audience consumption. He underscores the need for robust infrastructure, skilled talent, and evolved business models to effectively leverage AI innovations. Lai illustrated how Google Cloud's clients are utilising AI for various applications, from reimagining films to automating metadata creation and localising content for global audiences.
