Video streaming technology provider Bitmovin has launched the Bitmovin Agentic AI Hub that it says brings together Bitmovin’s products to offer agentic AI services for workflow automation.
The Agentic AI Hub introduces Bitmovin’s Observability MCP server as well as three agentic solutions: vertical short form clipping, voice-operated seeking, and summarisation companion. These solutions are all underpinned by an AI agent that draws and acts on AI-generated analysis from Bitmovin’s AI scene analysis and agentic tools from other products like Bitmovin’s VOD encoding and Bitmovin’s player, the company added.
Jacob Arends, senior product manager at Bitmovin, said: “We’re incredibly excited to release the Agentic AI Hub, which brings Bitmovin’s products like AI scene analysis up to another level by generating new ways to engage viewers and create value. Furthermore, in the spirit of encouraging experimentation and accelerating the pace of innovation, the agentic tools used in these solutions will be available for developers to use via Bitmovin’s MCP servers, allowing video services full control to adapt and use in-house to create new workflows for their customers. This allows developers to focus more on pushing innovation forward.”
More services and MCP tools will be made available via the Bitmovin’s Agentic AI Hub in the coming months.
