Energy-efficient technologies from Rohde & Schwarz on display

The R&S TH1 liquid-cooled, high-power transmitter from Rohde & Schwarz claims a potential 50% reduction in power consumption and carbon footprint over previous generations.

The company says broadcasters can also realise efficiencies in DAB+ of up to 50% with its R&S TXV9evo transmitter family, and it offers systems for satellite and ground station operators, such as the PK100-I (indoor) and PKU-100-O (outdoor) solid-state high-power satellite uplink amplifiers.

R&S Prismon, a software-defined multiviewer with integrated monitoring, is being presented with a new server generation with double I/O density. It features 10G interfaces and the latest Linux Debian OS, with cybersecurity improvements and Kantar watermarking support.

Also on show will be R&S SpycerNode2 secure storage, R&S Venice for live and production ingest and content mastering solution R&S Clipster.
