Ross Video acquires LAMA at IBC

Following a customer introduction at last year’s IBC, Ross Video has boosted its audio production toolkit with the acquisition of automated audio mixing specialist LAMA at IBC2025. Designed to streamline live audio workflows, LAMA supports a range of use cases from live broadcasts and esports to corporate events and streaming.

Jeff Moore, executive vice-president and CMO, Ross Video, said: “It’s one of the benefits of an event like IBC; vendors are mainly here for clients, but part of the value that we get out of the show is vendor networking.

“LAMA really knows its stuff when it comes to audio mixing. It is entirely software based, so it's great for the cloud as well as on premise, and automated mixing one of the big themes of the show. LAMA’s automix has broad applicability for news mixing as well as things like meetings and sports commentary, and one of the things our customers are looking to do is to combine it with our Overdrive automated production systems.”

The acquisition reinforces Ross Video’s commitment to end-to-end live production systems and gives Ross customers access to fully integrated audio mixing tools that complement their existing video workflows.
