The WMC series of wallplate video signal converters will be unveiled by Ophit at IBC2024. These multi-format video signal converters enable high-speed data transmission via an HDMI 2.0 TMDS-compatible optical output signal, delivering UHD/4K resolution at 60Hz without signal degradation.
The WMC-DH model allows the user to manually select the HDMI 2.0 or DisplayPort 1.2 input switch for HDMI 2.0 output, whereas the WMC-SD automatically converts 12G-SDI to HDMI 2.0 for output.

The WMC-DH and WMC-SD converters are designed to be mounted in a single-gang enclosure. The converters need to be connected to the OMP-HM-R (receiver), which comes with an MPO-type optical fibre cable for uncompressed data transmission up to 100m with near-zero latency.
