Live captions get a GenAI makeover with Videolinq

Captioning specialist Videolinq is set to highlight what it describes as a practical new approach to live subtitling in Hall 14.

The company is demonstrating a GenAI-based technology that creates CEA-708-compliant subtitles embedded directly into RTMP and SRT video streams. It claims that this capability helps simplify distribution to social media and video platforms, complementing traditional sidecar VTT tracks.

Videolinq will also be showing its instant subtitle service for live events. The service allows attendees to view real-time translations on their phones by scanning a QR code. It supports more than 40 languages.
