Imagine celebrates four thousand workflows served

Imagine Communications is marking a milestone at IBC2024, with the shipping of the 4000th unit of its Selenio Network Processor (SNP).

New features have also been added which are able to be licensed onto any SNP that has ever shipped, enabling current users to easily add functionality to their existing system.

‘The maturity, flexibility and stability of the SNP is testament to its popularity and performance’

Taking centre stage at IBC2024, the new SNP-XL extends the SNP platform’s capabilities with increased SDI flexibility and a new double-density gateway personality.

Offering a flexible and practical processing device in both IP and SDI workflows, the SNP was put to the test at major international sports projects this year, including global pro golf tournaments and the Paris Games, by live events technology provider Creative Technology.

Steve Reynolds, President, Imagine Communications, said: “Customer feedback from global broadcasters tells us that the popularity and performance of the SNP is testament to its maturity, flexibility and stability for live events production. We’re looking forward to selling 4000 more!”
