Host Broadcast Services appoints Ronald den Hollander as CEO

Ronald den Hollander has been appointed as CEO, Host Broadcast Services (HBS), effective 1 October 2026.

den Hollander will step up from his current position as HBS Director, Broadcast Sites, Operations, Services, and reportedly assume overall responsibility for the strategic direction, operational delivery, innovation, and continued growth of HBS and its affiliated production businesses.

Ronald den Hollander will take up the role of CEO, Host Broadcast Services (HBS), effective 1 October 2026

The appointment follows the previously announced decision for Dan Miodownik, CEO, HBS, and Luc-Antoine Charial, Chief Operating Officer (COO), HBS, to leave their respective roles following the delivery of key 2026 projects, including the host broadcast of the FIFA World Cup 2026, the US Open, and the inaugural World Athletics Ultimate Championship. Miodownik and Charial will continue in their current roles until 30 September 2026. 

den Hollander has been with HBS for more than 20 years and has served on the HBS executive management team for almost a decade. Since 2024, he has been HBS Director, Broadcast Sites, Operations, Services. He has played a leading role in delivering five editions of the FIFA World Cup, several editions of UEFA Euro, and various Asian Games. Since joining HBS in 2005, he has held senior roles spanning construction, venue management, and broadcast infrastructure, including the design, delivery, and operation of complex international broadcast centres and facilities.
