Crafting suspense: “We wanted to raise the bar again”

Nella Mente di Narciso’s Director of Photography, Gianluca Braccieri, reveals the digital film cameras, custom lighting setup, and end-to-end post-production software the team leveraged to achieve the tension and mystery of the Italian crime documentary series’ highly anticipated third season.

Following the success of its previous seasons, Nella Mente di Narciso returns to RaiPlay and Rai 2 for a third season on RaiPlay and Rai 2, starting 9 April 2026. Across 20 episodes, hosted by Criminologist and Psychologist Roberta Bruzzone, viewers are guided through some of Italy’s most notable crime cases through forensic analysis designed to reconstruct the dynamics of each crime scene.
