Making a debut appearance at IBC, Axient Digital PSM is Shure’s first digital in-ear monitoring system. It offers a combination of four transmission modes – multichannel wideband (WMAS, where available), narrowband, analogue FM, and Axient Digital standard (point-to-point).
This enables audio professionals to choose the mode that best fits their needs, says Shure, adding that such versatility allows engineers to tailor the system to specific productions and artists’ performances.
Another key feature is Shure’s Spatial Diversity technology that employs dual transmit antennas on the same frequency. It enhances signal reliability by reducing dropouts caused by multipath interference.

Additionally, Axient Digital PSM is supported by Shure’s ShowLink ecosystem, allowing monitor engineers to enjoy comprehensive remote management of every bodypack receiver on stage. By integrating this with Shure’s Wireless Workbench and AD600 Spectrum Manager, engineers have access to wide-band spectrum scanning, monitoring, and management in real time.
