Video Intelligence, Neodata Group’s AI platform for video archives, will be on show at IBC with automated audio description among its accessibility capabilities.
The platform analyses video content to recognise scenes, characters, actions, and visual context, then generates synchronised audio descriptions that can be reviewed, refined, or published as an optional accessibility track. It works on top of existing video archives and media asset management (MAM) infrastructures.
Audio description is one of several utilities within Video Intelligence, which also provides metadata enrichment, ad break detection, archive search, and content discovery.
Neodata says the platform could help broadcasters, streaming platforms, and media companies make accessibility more sustainable across large video catalogues, particularly as the European Accessibility Act increases the operational requirements around accessible content.
