As the final day of IBC2026 draws near, visitors seize the last opportunity of the year to network, solidify partnerships, and soak up the last of the available innovative learnings across IBC2025’s 14 halls
To map a path through it all, IBC365 has broken down the key moments of the day to occur across a range of panel talks, demos, and masterclasses at Amsterdam’s RAI.
IBC Content Everywhere
There is no doubt that technology is transforming the news industry through artificial intelligence, social media, and digital platforms.
One key session is “How Agentic AI Is Redefining the Media Value Chain” at 11:15. Moderated by Paul Erickson, Principal Analyst, Media and Entertainment, Omdia, this session will feature experts from Amazon Web Services, Grabyo, and TwelveLabs. The panel will address how agentic AI is redefining the media value chain through multi-agent orchestration across content creation, supply chain, and distribution, and intelligent distribution at scale. Find out all you need to know about agentic AI for multiplatform content delivery and monetisation.
After that, Jean-Christophe Perier, Chief Marketing Officer, Globecast, will give a talk called “Transforming Broadcast with Value-Based Platforms” at 16:00. This session will focus on how broadcasters and M&E organisations can maintain their creative and editorial excellence to meet the demands of a digitally sophisticated and experience-driven audience – while navigating technological transformation and operational complexity.
Finally, in the “Beyond Streaming: Turning Live Sports into Scalable Value” session at 17:00, David Wilkinson, VP, Head, Reuters Imagen, will be joined by executives from S&P Global Market Intelligence, Media Distillery, and VisualOn. This panel will explore how the industry is moving beyond siloed approaches to production, distribution, and monetisation, towards connected, end‑to‑end workflows. From real-time content capture to AI-driven enrichment and multi-platform distribution, panellists will discuss how organisations can unlock greater value from both live and archive content – at speed and at scale.
Hall 14 Stages
This year, Hall 14 will be home to the Future Tech Stage and also the Ignite Stage. Both free-to-attend platforms will feature leading real-world solutions for content production, streaming, monetisation, and broadcasting.
Getting the ball rolling, the “Accelerator - Q-Stream: Quantum Secure, Network-Adaptive, Verifiable, Live Media Infrastructure” session at 10:00 will feature Nick Beer, Director, Development, Strategy, BFBS, and Esteban Vazquez Ferreiro, CEO, Tesla Technologies. These executives will speak to Adrian Roe, CEO, Norsk, and Robert Rotter, Founder, Tech Lead, Deviqon, about how broadcasters, telecommunications providers, and technology partners are redefining resilient streaming. By combining predictive network intelligence, semantic compression, and C2PA content credentials, the project prioritises critical information over pixel-perfect fidelity, ensuring live media remains usable, verifiable, and resilient when bandwidth is constrained and conventional delivery methods fail.
Following this, the “Accelerator - VooPla: The Decision Twin - Decision-Ready Sustainable Digital Twins for Broadcast & Virtual Production Studios” session at 13:00 will be led by none other than Mark Smith, Co-Lead, IBC Accelerators, Chair, IBC Council. He will moderate a session of experts from Shure, Heliguy, and Digital Catapult as they showcase and discuss the Accelerator’s work to prototype, test, and validate a practical, decision-ready digital twin workflow for broadcast and virtual production planning, culminating in an interactive dashboard demonstrator at IBC2026 and a repeatable approach to support wider industry adoption.
Alongside all of this established expertise, the “Future Talent Showcase” at 12:00 will showcase the skills of the next generation. Part 1 will be led by representatives from the independent industry initiative On-Air, who will discuss the inner workings of the marathon 24-hour global multi-channel live broadcast going on air in October 2026, led by a collaboration of industry organisations and education facilities, and produced entirely by students. The session will reflect on the success of the 2025 broadcast and what’s in store for 2026.
Exhibition floor
Out on the exhibition floor, industry pioneers and innovators will roam the halls, exploring how the showfloor’s array of cutting-edge technology can transform their operations and the future of media and entertainment. From thought leadership to real-world case studies, tech showcases, and the latest industry developments, M&E’s most influential names will unveil top innovations that span the full spectrum of the industry.
IBC’s 1,400 exhibitors this year include industry leaders such as Adobe, Amazon Web Services (AWS), Avid, Canon, EVS, Google, Haivision, Interra Systems, LucidLink, Microsoft, NEP Group, Octopus Newsroom, RED Digital Cinema, Sony, Dell Technologies and many, many more.
