The Royal Television Society (RTS) has unveiled the full line-up for its Cambridge Convention 2025, which includes a conversation with Sarina Wiegman, Manager of England Football’s Women’s Team, and Alison Lomax, Managing Director (MD) of YouTube UK & Ireland.
The executives’ conversation will reflect on leadership and the impact of the team’s success on wider society. It comes after Wiegman steered the England team to its second successive Women’s Euro title in the summer of 2025.
Elsewhere, Actor David Tennant will speak to Charlotte Moore, CEO of Left Bank Pictures, and Executive Vice President (EVP) and Creative Director of International Production at Sony Pictures Television. The two will discuss Tennant’s career and consider how to protect and nurture the UK’s unique creative culture.
Additional new speakers joining the convention’s line-up include The Rt Hon Lisa Nandy MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport; Jane Turton, CEO of All3Media; and Marco Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Entertainment and Banijay Live.
The Convention will take place on 17-18 September at King’s College, Cambridge.
The RTS Cambridge Convention Chair Tim Davie will call for action to secure future growth for the TV sector in a fast-evolving landscape.

The RTS will also welcome back: Dame Carolyn McCall, CEO of ITV; Sarah Rose, President of Channel 5 and UK Regional Lead of Paramount Global; and Dana Strong, CEO of Sky Group.
Tim Davie, Director-General of the BBC, will chair the event.
