YouTube’s Alison Lomas and England manager Sarina Wiegman join RTS Cambridge line-up

The executives’ conversation will reflect on leadership and the impact of the team’s success on wider society. It comes after Wiegman steered the England team to its second successive Women’s Euro title in the summer of 2025. 

Elsewhere, Actor David Tennant will speak to Charlotte Moore, CEO of Left Bank Pictures, and Executive Vice President (EVP) and Creative Director of International Production at Sony Pictures Television. The two will discuss Tennant’s career and consider how to protect and nurture the UK’s unique creative culture. 

Additional new speakers joining the convention’s line-up include The Rt Hon Lisa Nandy MP, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport; Jane Turton, CEO of All3Media; and Marco Bassetti, CEO of Banijay Entertainment and Banijay Live. 

The Convention will take place on 17-18 September at King’s College, Cambridge. 

The RTS Cambridge Convention Chair Tim Davie will call for action to secure future growth for the TV sector in a fast-evolving landscape.  

Other newly announced speakers and chairs that have the existing line-up include: 

Rachel Corp, CEO of ITN; Jane Featherstone, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer (CCO) of Sister; Andrew Georgiou, President and Managing Director of Warner Bros. Discovery UK & Ireland and Warner Bros. Discovery Sports Europe; David Rhodes, Executive Chairman of Sky News Group; and Deborah Turness, CEO of BBC News and Current Affairs 

Theresa Wise, CEO of the Royal Television Society, said: “This year, our Cambridge Convention will once again bring together global trailblazers from all corners of the media and tech industries, with each session shining a timely and valuable spotlight on how our industry is evolving. We look forward to welcoming both our esteemed line-up of speakers and delegates to Cambridge for two days of inspiring discussions, which we hope will drive action and provoke vital conversations around the future of our industry.” 

The RTS will also welcome back: Dame Carolyn McCall, CEO of ITV; Sarah Rose, President of Channel 5 and UK Regional Lead of Paramount Global; and Dana Strong, CEO of Sky Group. 

Tim Davie, Director-General of the BBC, will chair the event. 

Hollywood producer and US Special Envoy to the UK Mark Burnett, former Meta President of Global Affairs Nick Clegg, and FX Chairman John Landgraf were among the first wave of high-profile speakers for the Royal Television Society (RTS)’s Cambridge Convention 2025. Discover more here.
