According to Aldena, the ADD022423XY multiband antenna it debuted at IBC2025 is a world-first that can support both FM broadcasting (87.5–108 MHz) and DAB+ (174–240 MHz) in a single high-performance and compact product.
Boasting a double dipole multiband antenna, the ADD022423XY has stainless-steel construction with full lightning protection. It features an omnidirectional pattern, vertical polarization, and a gain performance of 4.4 dBd in FM and 5.0 dBd in DAB.
Carlo Perotta, Head of Sales and Business Development at Aldena, said: “The ADD022423XY minimises space by combining dipoles for FM and for DAB in a unique structure. Everything is internalised in the boom of the antenna which means there are no external components, and our customers have just one structure to put on the tower. This saves them space and reduces costs as well as simplifying installation.”
