Stuttgart-based UX specialist 3SS is set to bring together players in the automotive industry with content providers at IBC, including hosting a workshop that will explore the future of in-vehicle entertainment.
It will also be showcasing the 3Ready Automotive software for in-vehicle entertainment and demonstrating how it has been pre-integrated with navigation system provider TomTom.

In addition, 3SS is leading the entertainment working group within the COVESA organisation that includes both car OEMs and content providers to bring more content to vehicles.
3SS believes that consumers’ cars are the next rising frontier for content owners and carmakers to engage with customers.
Felix Walter, Head of Automotive at 3SS, said: “Today’s consumers expect to be able to increase the value of time spent in cars.”
“During the workshop 3SS is holding during IBC, both OEMs and content providers will get a chance to openly discuss and tackle the biggest challenges to make the content more accessible within the automotive industry,” Walter added.
Visitors can register for the event, which takes place in Room G107 on 13 September, at the COVESA website.
