Canal 13 invests in Quantum media storage

Myriad and ActiveScale will be on show from Quantum at IBC2025.

The former is a software-defined storage platform with direct NVMe access, RDMA interconnects, and smart fabric support. ActiveScale is an object storage platform built for high-performance access, storage efficiency, and the long-term durability of massive data sets.

Canal 13 sought to unify storage, streamline management, and cut costs with Quantum’s solutions

Canal 13, a major Chilean broadcaster known for its news, sports, and entertainment programming, adopted Myriad all-flash NAS for high-performance production storage, as well as ActiveScale object storage, including ActiveScale Cold Storage, for building a scalable, resilient content lake.
