SipRadius puts CoralOS through its paces

SipRadius, a specialist in secure, low latency media transport, plans to demonstrate how its platform enables broadcasters and media organisations to take control of fragmented IP workflows at IBC2025.

It says its unified environment replaces loosely connected tools with an integrated system for encoding, timing, routing and encryption, designed specifically for live media at scale.

CoralOS, a custom operating system developed by SipRadius, underpins all the company’s products with the aim of providing a consistent and controlled environment that minimises overhead, closes security gaps and simplifies system management.

Sergio Ammirata, founder and chief scientist at SipRadius, said: “Too often, IP systems are built from separate components with different operating systems, update cycles and vulnerabilities. CoralOS allows us to unify the stack and harden the platform at every level, from signal processing to user access.”

The SipRadius platform supports open standards including RIST and can be deployed on prem, in the public cloud or in self-hosted private cloud environments.
