The session focused on the concept of “AI factories” for media, exploring how AI can be integrated into media workflows to enhance efficiency and creativity. Panellists discussed the importance of infrastructure, particularly GPU-dense compute, storage, and networking, in building AI factories that can support media operations at scale. They emphasised the need for reproducibility and consistency in these workflows, highlighting how automation can streamline processes from proof of concept (POC) to production. The discussion also touched upon the role of service providers in aligning AI solutions with customer needs, ensuring that the technology effectively adds value to media production and distribution.
