Sonifex is showcasing the second generation of its AoIP I/O interface range at IBC2026, adding support for Dante and Ravenna/AES67 networks for low-latency audio transport across IP-based workflows.
Aimed at broadcasters, live production teams and AV integrators, the units convert analogue or AES3 digital audio to and from AoIP. The 1U rack-mount range supports up to 16 channels, with configurations including 16-input, 16-output and 8-input, 8-output analogue models, alongside 8-input/8-output AES3 models. XLR and terminal block connectivity options are available to suit different installation requirements.
Redundancy is provided through dual RJ45 connections for network data and PoE power. A USB-C power option is available where PoE is not suitable. Configuration is performed using industry-standard management tools, including Dante Controller for Dante deployments and Anemen for Ravenna/AES67 deployments.
The compact aluminium chassis features front-panel status indication for straightforward monitoring in live and studio environments.
