Whale TV makes a bigger splash on CTV

Cloud-based omnichannel platform Teads and Whale TV have announced the expansion of their partnership in Europe to collaborate on the monetisation of connected TV (CTV) native display inventory on Whale TV models.

This means an expansion to home screen display advertising to enhance advertiser reach with the Whale TV OS.

Mike Duin, VP Marketing & Communications, Whale TV, said: “We see it as our mission as a leading independent TV operating system to make TV better for everyone, from consumers to content owners and advertisers. Expanding our partnership withTeads is a logical next step and will help making our inventory more universally available to brands and agencies.”

Teads’ direct-to-glass offering is now available to brands and agencies in the Netherlands and Central Eastern Europe. It recently expanded its CTV offering in Europe, Latin America, theUK and the USA. Whale TV says it has partnered with more than 400 TV brands to date, and claims its Whale TV OS currently powers 41.1 million monthly active TVs.
