amaran launches its first audio product

The amaran Mic combines a 30mm dynamic capsule with built-in AI noise reduction, wired or wireless recording, and up to 60 hours of battery life, addressing common challenges like background noise and restrictive desktop setups. 

Maxwell Miranda, Global Product Marketing Manager, amaran, said: “If you look at a streamer’s desk, there are a lot of cables, so the ability to have it wireless does free them up from a lot of clutter.” 

The €99 microphone is designed for simple operation, flexible placement and quality audio without complexity. The supercardioid pickup pattern focuses on the sound directly in front of the microphone while reducing noise from the sides. 

The Mic can connect via USB-C cable or via a pre-paired USB-C receiver for wireless use. The 2.4GHz transmission reaches up to 50m in unobstructed environments. The Mic also features the ability to switch between noise reduction modes and make other adjustments from the mic itself, and a desktop app for further customisation, including EQ presets and custom curves, vocal enhancement, limiter and noise gate.
