At IBC, Ikegami will showcase two viewfinders, alongside a new constant-aperture variable neutral density filter function for its UHK-X700 and UHK-X750 Unicam XE portable and studio cameras.
The VFE-P07D monocular organic light-emitting diode (OLED) viewfinder has an integral 3.5in TFT LCD monitor display. The monocular display uses a 0.7in 16:9 aspect ratio OLED with a fast response time, 200cd/m² brightness and an integral magnifying lens. Located just above it, the tilting, rotatable LCD monitor offers 450cd/m² brightness and 170° viewing angles.
The VFE-P711AD is a 7in high-resolution OLED viewfinder designed to ensure clear visibility in environments with intense ambient light. The OLED panel’s fast response time is particularly useful when focusing and framing content at high frame rates for slow-motion replay. It includes an integrated waveform monitor and vectorscope, plus audio level metering and tally. It can also be used as a field monitor for an external 3G-SDI feed.
