FilmLight is set to introduce a suite of new features to Nara at IBC2025, as it aims to further streamline large media workflows.
Nara provides search tools and accurate, bandwidth-friendly streaming of media files irrespective of their encoding or format. The latest features include advanced analytics tools, real-time transcoding capabilities, a new project management feature, as well as tools for notes and comments to aid collaboration across teams and departments.
A new analytics feature provides a detailed overview of user systems, including directory size, file age, volume capacity and storage distribution by file type. In addition, new Secure Client Review functionality enables users to stream media directly to clients with complete security and guaranteed accuracy. Nara’s new Project Management feature provides a unified view across all storage locations, making media instantly accessible and searchable from a single interface, regardless of storage location. Also, a new Consolidate and Transcode feature with support for over 130 codecs and formats means Nara can now transcode any of its supported media files into a desired format.
