nanocosmos launches nanoStream Control

Video streaming specialist nanocosmos has launched nanoStream Control, a security and control layer within the nanoStream platform.

Oliver Lietz, CEO of nanocosmos, said: “Real-time streaming without control is a growing risk for operators. With nanoStream Control, organisations can detect, intervene and protect their streams instantly, not after damage has already occurred.”

The company said nanoStream Control introduces a multi-layered security approach based on prevention, detection, and response. Key features include: token revocation for instant access control; detection and blocking of unauthorised access; referrer allow-lists for embedding control; real-time monitoring and anomaly detection; and forensic data/watermarking for content protection.

The product also provides advanced analytics, including dashboards, geographic insights, and client-side metrics to optimise stream quality and user experience.

nanoStream Control is part of the nanoStream platform, which includes nanoStream Live for ultra-low latency delivery and nanoStream Studio for AI-powered video enhancements.
