Studiocanal has appointed Margaret Conway as Head of Physical Production for Studiocanal TV.
Conway will be based in the UK, reporting to Studiocanal’s recently announced Executive Managing Director of TV Series, M-K Kennedy.

Conway is currently Head of Production for Studiocanal’s Red Production company.
Conway will work across all Studiocanal territories. Studiocanal currently houses 14 production companies including the UK’s Birdie Pictures, Red Production, Sunny March TV, Strong Film & Television and Urban Myth Films. It also includes Spain’s Bambu Producciones, France’s Studiocanal Original and the US’s The Picture Company.
Emmanuel Jacquelin, who currently oversees physical production for Studiocanal TV’s French series, will report to Conway effective from July 1.
Before joining Red, Conway worked as a freelance producer on shows such as Danny Brocklehurst’s Brassic, Daragh Carville’s The Bay, Mike Bullen’s Cold Feet and Reggie Yates’ Make Me Famous. Before that Conway was a Line Producer for 13 years.
Currently in post-production for Studiocanal is Urban Myth’s Paris Has Fallen, Thomas Vinterberg’s Families Like Ours and James Norton starrer Playing Nice.
M-K Kennedy commented: “The appointment of Margaret Conway to the role of Head of Physical Production for Studiocanal TV marks an important moment in our evolution as a TV studio. We want broadcasters, platforms, and other partners to know that we are officially structuring our studio for growth and for the long term. Starting with Physical Production, we are creating reliable structures and consistency in our approach to execution – regardless of territory – so that our partners will know what to expect when we embark on an ambitious series together.”
