Riedel Communications has named Lutz Rathmann as CEO, who will take overall responsibility for the company’s Product Division and Managed Technology Division.
At the same time, Anthony Zuyderhoff, currently Executive Director Global Sales, will take on the role of Chief Commercial Officer (CCO).
The new management structure will be effective from 1 January 2027 and comes as Jan Eveleens, currently CEO of Riedel Communications’ Product Division, plans to retire at the end of 2026.
Riedel said the new setup will bring the Product Division and Managed Technology Division into closer alignment, combining the company’s product development and live production expertise more closely.
Both divisions will retain their respective teams, expertise, and market focus while collaborating more closely across the business. At the same time, Riedel will connect its customer-facing sales, service, support, and marketing functions through a shared go-to-market leadership.
Before returning to lead managed technology in 2020, Rathmann had already held senior roles at Riedel, including Vice Director of Global Events and Head of Project Management.
“Lutz knows our customers, our technologies, and the realities of complex live production,” said Thomas Riedel, CEO of Riedel Group. “Anthony brings the commercial perspective and market focus needed to translate that strength into a consistent customer experience. Together, they will help us connect our capabilities more effectively and make Riedel easier to engage with, easier to understand, and stronger in the market. I also want to thank Jan for his tremendous contribution to Riedel and am very pleased that we will continue to benefit from his expertise as a consultant.”
Thomas Riedel, Founder and Owner of Riedel Communications and the Riedel Group, recently acquired Arri, the Munich-based premium manufacturer of camera and lighting technology for motion picture and live entertainment. Discover more here.
