Spanish language musical Emilia Pérez won four awards at the 2025 Golden Globes, making it the top film winner.
The Jacques Audiard directed film won the prize for best musical or comedy film and best supporting actress for Zoe Saldaña. Emilia Pérez also won best original song and best non-English language film.
The Brutalist, about a Hungarian architect who builds a new life in the US after World War Two, won three film prizes, including best drama, best actor for Adrien Brody and best director for Brady Corbet.
There were also film acting wins for Demi Moore (The Substance), Sebastian Stan (A Different Man), Fernanda Torres (I'm Still Here) and Kieran Culkin (A Real Pain).
Wicked, the prequel to The Wizard Of Oz, took home the box office and cinematic achievement prize, a new award introduced last year. There was a surprise in the animated feature category, which saw The Wild Robot and Inside Out 2 beaten by Flow, a film from Latvia about animals who must work together to survive following a flood.
In the TV categories, Japanese historical drama Shogun dominated, picking up three acting awards for its stars Hiroyuki Sanada, Anna Sawai and Tadanobu Asano, and also the prize for best drama.
Baby Reindeer was named best limited series and its star Jessica Gunning won best TV supporting actress for her portrayal as a stalker in the Netflix series.
Other TV winners included The Bear's Jeremy Allen White, True Detective's Jodie Foster, Hacks’ Jean Smart and Penguin’s Colin Farrell.
