Before this, he launched and led Lime Pictures US operation, delivering shows including Dance Monsters for Netflix, True Love or True Lies for MTV, and Who Do You Believe? for ABC. He has held senior creative and strategic roles at Warner Brothers in Australia and at the UK’s Eyeworks and ITV Studios.

Crompton will replace Andrew Llinares, who recently stepped down as Director of Global Entertainment after three years. He will report directly to Jennifer Mullin, Fremantle’s Global CEO.

Fremantle’s Entertainment division delivered 345 commissions across 62 territories in 2025. Its catalogue includes The Price is Right, Family Feud, Got Talent, Idol, Masked Singer, Farmer Wants a Wife, The Farm, The X Factor, and Too Hot to Handle.

Mullin said: “We are thrilled to welcome Ben to Fremantle. He is a business-minded leader with a deep understanding of the industry, not only from a development and production perspective, but also from a commercial and strategic viewpoint. I look forward to working closely with Ben and our hugely talented team at this extremely exciting time for our business, as we build on our successes and continue to push the creative boundaries together.”

Fremantle recently appointed Lydia Goomansingh to the newly created role of SVP Commercial of Global Branded Entertainment. Discover more here.
