Telxius selects Synamedia Quortex Switch

Telxius has integrated its carrier-grade content delivery network (CDN) with Synamedia’s Quortex Switch platform, which the companies say enables content providers to dynamically switch between CDNs in real time for the first time.

The partners added that this enables providers to improve streaming quality, resilience, and cost-efficiency while extending reach to millions of viewers worldwide through a more agile, scalable multi-CDN strategy.

Launched in March 2025, Quortex Switch is a SaaS-based tool designed to simplify the design and management of multi-CDN systems.

Mónica Martínez, Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) at Telxius, said: “Our carrier-grade CDN leverages our extensive global infrastructure to deliver superior performance, reliability, and security. Now, with the addition of Quortex Switch, our content provider customers will be able to take their streaming services to the next level, enhancing the QoE for streaming viewers as well as end-to-end control.”

Edward Allfrey, General Manager of Video Network at Synamedia, added: “Telxius already has a strong position and by choosing to partner with us to deploy Quortex Switch for its content provider customers, it is increasing the value of its offer and extending CDN reach to new markets.”
