Netflix and Airoha Technology, a subsidiary of MediaTek, have announced a strategic partnership to support seamless Netflix integration for set-top boxes used by operators worldwide. This collaboration aims to accelerate time to market and foster innovation, creating new opportunities for operators to enhance their service offerings with Netflix.

As part of this first-of-its-kind partnership, both companies will start to leverage their respective technological strengths and industry expertise to seek for innovative and futuristic possibilities that simplify the integration of Netflix into operator device ecosystems. This effort expects to enable operators to deliver a seamless and enriched viewing experience to their customers, while reducing operational costs and the time required to launch new services.
