Former BT Sport Chief Engineer Andy Beale is joining the Premier League as Director of Technology.
Beale joins the Premier League from Ateliere where he was Business Development Director, EMEA.

Beale’s appointment comes as the Premier League works on plans to launch an in-house media production operation.
Announced in November 2024, the in-house operation will be responsible for all international media content production and distribution from the start of the 2026/7 season.
For the past 20 years, the service has been provided in partnership with IMG, operating as Premier League Productions (PLP).
The Premier League delivers 6,000 hours of content per season to 55 international broadcast partners, covering 189 global markets.
As well as full coverage of each season’s 30 matches, Premier League Productions also provides a 24/7 content service and other support programming including long-form content such as magazine shows.
Beale announced the job move on LinkedIn, saying: “I’m happy to share that I’m starting a new position as Director of Technology at The Premier League! Huge thanks to Nick Morgan and the team for the very warm welcome. Looking forward to a very exciting few years ahead.”
