Cloud playout solution provider Veset has launched a new self-service subscription portal that it says provides broadcasters, content owners and service providers with immediate access to cloud playout platform, Veset Nimbus.
Veset Nimbus is described as an enterprise-grade, all-in-one, SaaS cloud playout platform for advanced channel management. It enables broadcasters, content owners and services providers to create and manage channels in the cloud, for delivery to distribution platforms from traditional terrestrial digital, satellite, cable, through to free ad supported streaming (FAST) and OTT.
Gatis Gailis, CEO and founder at Veset, said: “While cloud-based solutions such as Veset Nimbus meet the need for media technology that is flexible, scalable, and efficient, content owners also want a simplified buying journey. This new subscription offering makes it even easier and quicker for content providers to create and launch their new channels. They can now go on the Veset website, choose a playout package, subscribe, pay by card, then start using the service straight away. The new subscription facility lets content owners come up with a great idea, then spin up a new channel, all in the space of a few hours.”
