Odido, a telecoms operator in the Netherlands, has selected Synamedia Go to support its TV streaming service.
The operator plans to migrate its existing TV subscribers to a modular, cloud-based SaaS platform.
Johan van den Branden, Chief Network, Operations Officer, Odido, said the telco’s ambition is to deliver a more “innovative and compelling TV experience” for its customers.
“With Synamedia Go, we can introduce new experiences faster, create more opportunities to engage viewers, and grow revenue, all while simplifying operations. Just as importantly, Synamedia’s proven expertise in large-scale migrations gives us confidence that we can make this transition with minimal risk and without disrupting our customers’ viewing experience,” he said.
Steve Reeves, Chief Revenue Officer, Synamedia, added: “Odido has a clear vision for the future of its TV service, and Go gives it the flexibility to realise that vision at its own pace, without disrupting the experience for existing subscribers. This is exactly what we designed Go to do: help operators move beyond legacy technology to a more flexible, modular foundation that simplifies operations and makes it easier to innovate, adapt, and unlock new revenue opportunities.”
