The inaugural edition of the FIFA Club World Cup took place this year and coverage was provided by DAZN in collaboration with TVU Networks.
According to TVU Networks, DAZN used its cloud technology to connect production teams across nine countries in Europe, Asia, and the Americas, enabling coordination, communication, and centralised control of live feeds without the need for large on-site crews.
TVU added that a key part of the workflow was the ability to make all 32 TVU RPS One transmitters available to every global destination through TVU MediaHub, allowing any moment, from a decisive penalty in Los Angeles to a dramatic save in Miami, to be routed to regional broadcasters around the world in real time.
The company noted that by centralising operations in the cloud, DAZN simplified what would otherwise have been a complex web of international production workflows.
“This approach reduced logistical challenges, minimized the need for physical resources, and significantly increased production speed – delivering captivating, real-time coverage with greater efficiency and a lower environmental impact,” TVU said.
