Abstract:
Virtual production, real-time engines and advanced VFX pipelines rely on complex, interconnected software ecosystems. Small and mid-sized studios face persistent challenges around interoperability, brittle toolchains, licensing costs and slow turnaround for bespoke tooling. This paper presents three applied case studies from Fivefold demonstrating how AI-assisted Rapid Application Development (RAD) materially changes how production software is designed, built and maintained: a browser-based LED wall configuration tool, a real-time projection mapping simulator, and a frame-accurate native 2D playback engine.
