Abstract
Modern IP-based broadcast systems are increasingly stable under nominal operating conditions, yet operators continue to experience abrupt failures that emerge without obvious warning. In many cases, these failures are not caused by outright faults or insufficient resources, but instead develop gradually through timing variance, buffering dynamics, scheduling contention, and recovery-path activation.
